Providing facilities for sporting, recreational and community activities

Dome structures to provided protection from heat, cold and heavy rain
Back in the earlY 2000s, the Eden Project showed how large dome structures could have temperature and humidity control.

Technologies improved over the years to make such large structures affordable for community groups.

Heat exchange from the air conditioning and refrigeration stems provide energy to produce electricity and heating if needed.

In Bellingen these tourist attraction domes are spread over Connell Park including the aquatic leisure centre, playing fields and much of the high school area.

Facilities include

swimming pool, wave pool, exercise pools
sports fields
community gardens
communal eating - large catering facilities allow town residents to eat out cheaply and get to know each other over delicious nutritional meals created from local produce.
